Kottawa Rainforest Reserve and Arboretum is a relatively unknown rainforest. This 14-hectare forest about 19km northeast of Galle has walking tracks with wet evergreen vegetation and tall trees. Kottawa has over 170 tree species, 100 of which are native to Sri Lanka.
